이번 그래미상 시상식의 크리스천 부문의 시상이 있었다. 베스트 락 가스펠 앨범으로 디씨 토크의 [Solo]가 수상을 했는데, 7곡 수록의 EP (Extended Play) 싱글 앨범이 수상을 한 경우는 굉장히 이례적인듯.

컨템퍼러리 가스펠 부문에서는 시시 와이넌스, 소울 가스펠은 욜란다 애덤스, 서던 가스펠 부문은 게이서 부부의 빌리 그래함 집회 유니언 앨범등 대부분 강력하게 거론된 후보들에게로 대부분 트로피가 돌아갔다.
